McCue & Associates Rejuvenates Client Product Line

Simonds Saw needed to jump start an existing line of band saw blades that were enhanced via manufacturing processes and tooth tip metallurgy treatment, and knew where to turn. They asked us how we could we reintroduce Blockbuster, an existing product line to inject some excitement, spur test cut trials and increase sales. We created a hard hitting, high impact reintroduction concept and dubbed it “Cuts like an S.O.B.” (Abbreviation for a “Simonds Outstanding Blade”.)

To incentivize test cutting we conceived a cool safety google giveaway featured in a call to action in a print ad we created, in addition to on Simond’s website homepage splash screen slider and landing page. A news release was also distributed to major manufacturing media. The client “swore” it helped generate the excitement and sales needed to boost the product line!
